We’re always trying to keep an eye on what’s about to be introduced, and there are two new phones for U.S. Cellular subscribers that we’re looking forward to seeing.
The HTC Hero S and the HTC Wildfire S both run on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) platform with HTC Sense, which includes the Today screen plugin to organize what’s going on in your life. The Wildfire looks like a potential choice for social media fans in particular; and we’re received an initial head’s up that the Hero S is supposed to be one fast phone for heavy data users.
Versions of these phones are available through other carriers, Sprint and T-Mobile respectively, but are anticipated for availability to US Cellular providers starting next month. And even better news: If you have a US. Cellular Belief Project plan customer and you’re eligible for an upgrade, you can get your choice of these two phones without having to sign a new contract.
