Recently we mentioned AT&T’s efforts to bring improved mobile broadband to residents of Eau Claire. AT&T is making similar improvements statewide as it announced today the activation for a new cell site in Rhinelander and increased mobile broadband capacity in Sheboygan.
We’re excited to hear our friends in Rhinelander will have similar mobile services as Wisconsin residents in bigger cities such as Green Bay and Milwaukee. The new cell site should make communication between families and businesses easier and more efficient.
With enhancements to cell sites in Sheboygan being similar to ones made in Rhinelander, you should expect to see a significant difference in your mobile service throughout the state.
“Smartphones, tablets and laptops are continuing to drive unprecedented demand for wireless access everywhere. We’re investing in a combination of technologies right here in Sheboygan to meet these needs and ensure an advanced broadband experience for all our customers,” says Dave Fine, AT&T vice president and general manger for AT&T in Wisconsin and Illinois.
