Milwaukee fitness entrepreneur BJ Gaddour has officially launched StreamFIT, a subscription-based website where users can stream workout videos straight to their laptop, tablet or smartphone. With currently more than 60 videos to choose from, StreamFIT users can get unlimited streaming for just under $20 a month. StreamFIT plans to add new videos monthly to keep subscribers engaged.
As my motivation to hit the gym significantly decreases when Wisconsin’s snowy winter season hits, this Netflix-inspired website could be a good alternative. Users can tailor their workouts according to their fitness level and intensity. The site tries to accommodate all users; it even includes workouts designed for pregnant woman. For someone who likes to stay indoors during the winter or constantly on the go, StreamFIT could be for you.
To get StreamFIT off the ground, Gaddour worked with other Wisconsin-based companies. Milwaukee-based Flipeleven produced the workout videos and Spreenkler Creative produced the company’s website.
With video streaming growing in popularity over purchasing DVDs, StreamFIT seems to fill a niche in the fitness world.
